Board-certified in cardiology, nuclear cardiology, sleep medicine, and internal medicine, Dr. Akinbobouye takes a comprehensive and integrative approach to cardiac care. Dr. Akinboboye is associate professor of clinical medicine at Weill Medical College of Cornell University and medical director of Queens Heart Institute in New York. He is an accomplished clinician, teacher, and researcher with more than 100 scientific publications in the fields of hypertension, diabetes, and heart imaging. He has ongoing efforts to spread expertise in the techniques of cardiopulmonary resuscitation in Nigeria, for which he received a humanitarian award.
