Dr. Erin D. Michos is an internationally known author and expert in preventive cardiology and women’s health. Her research focuses on women’s cardiovascular health and cardio-obstetrics, cardiovascular risk prediction using coronary artery calcium scores and biomarkers, lipids, and cardiometabolic diseases.
Dr. Michos is a Professor of Medicine in the cardiology department at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, with a joint appointment in the Department of Epidemiology at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She is also the associate director of preventive cardiology with the Johns Hopkins Ciccarone Center for the Prevention of Cardiovascular Disease.
