About

Dr. Eric D. Peterson is a professor of Internal Medicine and faculty member of the Cardiology Division at the University of Texas Southwestern (UTSW) Medical Center, where he serves as vice provost and senior associate dean for Clinical Research, and vice president for Health System Research. In 2020 he was named the UTSW Adelyn and Edmund M. Hoffman Distinguished Chair in Medical Science. Prior to joining the UTSW faculty, Dr. Peterson was a distinguished and tenured professor in the Division of Cardiology at Duke University School of Medicine, where he served as executive director of the Duke Clinical Research Institute.
