July 10, 2018 (Boca Raton, FL) – CMHC is proud to announce its most recent partnership with the Gaples Institute for Integrative Cardiology, a nonprofit with the mission of advancing the role of nutrition and lifestyle in healthcare.
Executive Director of the Gaples Institute, Associate Professor of Medicine at Northwestern University, and preventive cardiologist Dr. Stephen Devries will lecture at the upcoming 13th Annual CMHC conference in Boston, taking place from October 24-27. Dr. Devries will deliver a lecture titled “Interventional Cardiology Delivered with a Fork,” during which he will highlight the primary–and underutilized–role of nutrition in managing cardiometabolic health.
This presentation will mark the third year that the Gaples Institute, led by Dr. Devries, was invited to present a nutrition focused talk at this annual 4-day conference that includes thought leaders from around the world and addresses the root causes of cardiovascular disease.
Other sessions will review a range of critical and acute issues in cardiometabolic care, including a pre-conference “Women’s Health Summit” that explores the unique challenges faced by women in cardiometabolic health. Supplemental Professional Medical Education workshops are available, in addition to an Exhibit Hall featuring the latest therapeutic developments in cardiometabolic health.
