Dr. Erica Spatz is an Associate Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine, Yale School of Medicine, and of Epidemiology, Yale School of Public Health. She is director of Preventive Cardiovascular Health at Yale Heart and Vascular Center. Her clinical and research interests focus on patient and community engagement, digital tools to bring real-world data into the clinical encounter, and shared decision making to inform individualized approaches to preventing and managing cardiovascular disease. She is the PI of a study funded by the Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute to study health system approaches to address health disparities in hypertension control.
