Dr. Susan Hutchinson is a board-certified Family Medicine Physician with a subspecialty in Headache. After practicing family medicine for 22 years, she opened Orange County Migraine & Headache Center in 2006 and focused on the management of headaches with a special interest in the relationship of migraines with hormonal changes. In 2013, her book “The Woman’s Guide to Managing Migraine: Understanding the Hormone Connection to find Hope and Wellness”, was published and well-received by women struggling with their migraines. Dr. Hutchinson loves teaching including to healthcare providers, patients, medical students, and residents. She is on the Volunteer Clinical Faculty in the Department of Family Medicine at UC Irvine. She is active in the American Headache Society and the immediate past-president of Headache Cooperative of the Pacific (HCOP). She has authored numerous manuscripts on the subject of migraine.
