About

Dr. Payal Kohli is an internationally recognized expert on cardiovascular diseases, lecturing at major cardiology scientific meetings worldwide. She is an associate clinical professor of medicine at University of Colorado School of Medicine, founder and medical director of Cherry Creek Heart, and quintuple-board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and vascular interpretation. Also a prolific writer, Dr. Kohli enjoys writing about the practice of medicine and challenges faced by physicians and has published columns and opinion pieces and contributes to continuing medical education content for her peers. She is the host of a podcast called Heart of Medicine, which explores challenging and controversial topics and has published dozens of original publications in leading peer-reviewed journals including JAMA, The Lancet, Circulation, and JACC. Dr. Kohli is a television correspondent for the national syndicated talk show Daily Blast Live as well as the local on-screen medical expert for Denverโ€™s KUSA station and other local news stations.
